Zelensky meets with Trump in Hague

A meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump took place in The Hague on the sidelines of the NATO summit.

This was reported by a Ukrinform correspondent in The Hague.

According to presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov, the talks between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump lasted about 50 minutes.

The presidents did not make any statements to the media after the meeting.

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump said that at the meeting with Zelensky they would discuss “difficulties, some problems.”

“We will discuss Ukraine. Yes, that seems most likely,” Trump added.

As reported, a NATO summit was held in The Hague, which considered three main issues: increasing defense spending, strengthening the defense industry's capabilities in NATO countries, and continuing assistance to Ukraine.
