In the event of an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, all of Iran's resources will be directed toward confronting Israel, and Russia's share of military aid will decrease accordingly. This could lead to a reduction in Russia's use of kamikaze drones in the war against Ukraine.

This was stated in a comment to Ukrinform by Oytun Orhan, a well-known Turkish scholar and expert on the Middle East, coordinator of Levant studies at the Middle East Research and Strategic Analysis Center (ORSAM).

“If the conflict between Iran and Israel escalates, Iran will inevitably need more military systems and weapons against Israel. In this case, Iran will prioritize the fight against Israel and use its limited military potential in this direction,” Oytun Orhan said.

According to his forecast, such a course of events will affect Iranian supplies to Russia.

“This could lead to a reduction in the use of kamikaze drones and similar military assistance that Iran provides to Russia. Thus, Russia may seek new alternatives to overcome this gap in supplies from Iran,” the expert explained.

As reported by Ukrinform, the US attacked Iran last night and announced the destruction of key Iranian nuclear facilities located in complexes in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. After the US attack, Iran initiated an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council and declared its right to self-defense and retaliation.
