Presidential Office hosts IMF mission for judicial reform talks

“The main focus of the discussion is the formation of higher specialized administrative courts,” the statement said.

Mudra informed the mission that the President of Ukraine had submitted a draft law to the parliament on the establishment of the Specialized District Administrative Court and the Specialized Administrative Court of Appeal.

The parties also discussed competitive procedures for the positions of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

The IMF representatives noted that despite the full-scale Russian aggression, the implementation of the reform in Ukraine continues.

The Deputy Head of the OP thanked for the contribution of international experts to the work of the advisory bodies and emphasized that it is important to continue making efforts to increase transparency and openness.

The parties agreed to continue discussing reforms for their timely and effective implementation, the OP added.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 20, Volodymyr Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on the establishment of the Specialized District Administrative Court and the Specialized Administrative Court of Appeal.
