US intel chief confirms end of pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine

“Because of US President Donald Trump leadership, we are one significant step closer to ending the bloody war in Ukraine. Per the President's direction, the pause on intelligence sharing with Ukraine has ended,” she said.

As Ukrinform reported, CIA Director John Ratcliffe said on March 5 that the United States had suspended intelligence support along with arms supplies to Ukraine, but at the same time confirmed Washington's intention to work with the Ukrainian side to lift the restrictions.

On March 11, negotiations between Ukraine and the United States took place in Saudi Arabia.

Ukraine expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal for the immediate introduction of a temporary, 30-day ceasefire, which could be extended by mutual agreement, provided that the Russian Federation accepts and simultaneously complies.

The joint statement following the talks in Jeddah also emphasized that the United States would cancel the pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine and resume military assistance.
