Ukraine sees Jeddah meeting as opportunity for peace and partnership – Sybiha

Ukraine views its meeting with the United States in Saudi Arabia as a significant opportunity to advance peace and strengthen strategic partnership, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
He stated this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.
"Glad to be in Jeddah with Andriy Yermak, Rustem Umerov, Pavlo Palisa. We see this meeting as a great opportunity to advance peace and develop the Ukraine-U.S. strategic partnership. The constructive atmosphere proves we can use this opportunity. Ukraine wants peace as no one else," Sybiha said.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian and U.S. delegations were holding talks in Jeddah today.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier noted that further U.S. aid to Ukraine would depend on the outcome of the Jeddah negotiations.
