Zelensky arrives in Saudi Arabia

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has arrived in Saudi Arabia.

This was reported to journalists by Presidential Advisor Dmytro Lytvyn, Ukrinform reports.

"The President has arrived in Saudi Arabia," Lytvyn said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Saudi Arabia announced that the talks between the delegations from Ukraine and the United States will be held in the city of Jeddah.

President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that at the meeting with U.S. officials in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine will be represented by the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, his deputy Pavlo Palisa, Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

Media reports said the U.S. administration officials in talks with the Ukrainian delegation in Saudi Arabia intend to determine whether Ukraine is ready to make concessions to Russia toward ending the war.

As per CNN, senior U.S. presidential administration officials will meet separately with Russian and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia this week.
