CIA Director confirms US pauses intelligence sharing with Ukraine
He made this statement on Wednesday during an American TV broadcast, as reported by Ukrinform, citing The Hill.
In an interview with Fox Business Network, Ratcliffe stated: "I think on the military front and the intelligence front, the pause that allowed that to happen I think will go away, and I think we’ll work shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine as we have to push back on the aggression that’s there, but to put the world in a better place for these peace negotiations to move forward."
The CIA Director also voiced hope that the intelligence-sharing restrictions would soon be lifted and emphasized the commitment to work with Ukraine toward achieving peace after President Zelensky sent a letter to President Trump.
As reported by Ukrinform, on Wednesday, White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz stated that President Trump would consider resuming aid to Ukraine if peace negotiations are arranged and confidence-building measures are taken.
