Sybiha at meeting with Wang: Ukraine hopes for China's support
The Ukrainian diplomat made this statement during a meeting with Wang on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Sybiha noted that meetings between the foreign ministers of Ukraine and China have become regular, taking place in various cities. He suggested that now is the right time to hold the next meeting in Kyiv, the capital of a country at war, at a time convenient for the Chinese side. The Ukrainian minister added that such a visit would provide an opportunity for an in-depth discussion on achieving a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
"We need your support," Sybiha said.

He expressed hope that this meeting would serve as another positive step in strengthening bilateral relations, which should develop in the interests of both nations.
Sybiha also highlighted a positive trend in the renewal of political dialogue in 2024.

Wang, in turn, reaffirmed that China and Ukraine have long-standing relations based on strategic partnership and cooperation. He also noted the significant trade between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The Munich Security Conference is taking place from February 14 to 16, bringing together world leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss global security challenges.
