Zelensky, Dutch PM discuss security guarantees and defense needs of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof have discussed the development of reliable security guarantees and defense needs of Ukraine.

Zelensky wrote this on social media, Ukrinform reports.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Ukrinform reports.

“Our discussion focused on united diplomacy, the development of reliable security guarantees, the real situation on the battlefield, and defense needs. We also spoke about support for our citizens forced to leave Ukraine due to Russian aggression,” the President noted.

He expressed gratitude to the Netherlands for joint efforts within the Ramstein format and “for ensuring that aid to Ukraine does not decrease after three years of war”.

As Ukrinform reported, February on 14-16, Munich hosts an annual security conference that brings together heads of state and government, heads of international organizations, civil society leaders, experts, and diplomats.
