Chairman of Munich Conference claims no Russian representatives accredited

Chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, stated that no representatives of the Russian delegation are participating in the event.

This was reported by Ukrinform, citing Bild.

"We have not accredited any representative of the Russian government. And without accreditation, entry is not possible," Heusgen said before the conference began.

Additionally, he noted that the German federal government did not issue visas to Russian government representatives.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that meetings involving representatives from the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine are scheduled to take place at the Munich Security Conference on Friday, February 14.

The Munich Security Conference will take place February 14-16.
