Ukraine, Chile presidents discuss further steps to implement Peace Formula

On the sidelines of the inaugural Peace Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of Chile Gabriel Boric have discussed further steps to implement the Peace Formula.

Zelensky said this in a post on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

The President of Ukraine thanked Boric for his decision to participate in the summit.

“We discussed the summit’s expected outcomes and further steps to implement the Peace Formula, including meetings on its specific provisions,” Zelensky noted.

The parties also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

According to the president’s website, Zelensky praised Gabriel Boric's personal participation in the Global Peace Summit and broad representation of Latin American countries at the level of leaders.

"It is very important for us to support Ukraine and its territorial integrity. We are here, we will continue to strongly support your position," the Chilean President said

The presidents noted the effectiveness of the visit to Chile by the Ukrainian government delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko last month.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine managed to bring 101 countries and international organizations together at the inaugural Peace Summit, which began in Switzerland. All parts of the world and continents are represented at the summit.
