Prime Minister of Ireland Leo Varadkar and Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin visited the sites of Russian crimes in Bucha, Kyiv region.

According to Kostin, "Bucha is a free and safe town today. But we will never forget the terrible mass murders of civilians committed here by Russian troops," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.

The Prosecutor General informed the Prime Minister that "more than 1,400 civilians were killed in Bucha district and even more were tortured."

He noted that "the systematic nature of these crimes shows that the aggressor is persecuting Ukrainians because of their national identity and pro-Ukrainian position. Similar cases are recorded in other liberated cities."

"Ukraine has two main goals: to stop Russian aggression and to put an end to Russia’s impunity for international crimes. The Kremlin regime is a threat to the whole world. Therefore, the whole world should act jointly and in a coordinated manner to hold the leaders of the regime and their accomplices to account for all the evil they have committed," Kostin emphasized.
