Zelensky tells Poland, Lithuania presidents about needs of Ukrainian troops

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with President of Poland Andrzej Duda and President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda told about the current needs of the Ukrainian military.

The Head of the Ukrainian State wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Had bilateral meetings with Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nauseda,” he wrote.

According to him, the visit of the Presidents of Poland and Lithuania is another confirmation of the strong and timely support for Ukraine, and especially – on the eve of the NATO Summit in Vilnius.

Zelensky expressed gratitude for Warsaw's leadership in creating a tank coalition and active participation in the coalition of fighters.

In a conversation with Gitanas Nauseda, Zelensky thanked Lithuania for the decision to buy two NASAMS launchers to transfer them to Ukraine.

“Briefed my colleagues on the course of hostilities and the current needs of the Ukrainian troops to continue the protection and deoccupation of Ukrainian territories,” Zelensky wrote.

In addition, he thanked the true friends of Ukraine for their visit.

“Together for victory!” Zelensky wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, on June 28, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda and President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit.
