Ukraine, Poland coordinate positions regarding NATO membership, security guarantees

Ukrinform
Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Zbigniew Rau have coordinated positions regarding enhanced institutional Ukraine-NATO ties, membership in the Alliance and security guarantees for Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Coordinated positions and steps ahead of Vilnius with [Polish Foreign Affairs Minister] Zbigniew Rau. Over the next weeks, we need to work closely together on forging allied consensus for strong decisions on 3 tracks: enhanced institutional Ukraine-NATO ties; a step toward Ukraine’s membership; security guarantees,” Kuleba wrote.

A reminder that Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO Nataliia Galibarenko stated earlier that the Ukrainian side is working on political and practical packages with NATO, and will bring them to the Alliance's Summit in Vilnius on July 11-12, 2023.
