Leaders of Ukraine, Indonesia discuss Grain Initiative, Peace Formula

The relevant statement was made by the Office of the President of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In the course of the meeting, President Zelensky briefed the President of the Republic of Indonesia on the course of hostilities in Ukraine. The Head of State drew attention to Russia’s shelling of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

He called on the President of Indonesia to support Ukraine’s efforts to return illegally deported children.

Meanwhile, Widodo commended the continuation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. The parties noted the importance of its expansion.

Additionally, the two leaders discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. Zelensky thanked the President of Indonesia for the invitation to participate in the G20 Summit in November 2022, where the Ukrainian Peace Formula was presented to the world.

The Head of State also expressed gratitude to Indonesia for its readiness to support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts, particularly in the healthcare sector.
