Zelensky approves composition of advisory council on de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has approved the personal composition of the Advisory Council on the De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol.

The decree to that effect, No. 283/2023, was published on the website of the head of state on May 18, according to Ukrinform.

The group is headed by Zelensky. In addition to the president, the council includes 42 more people, among them the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, the president's permanent representative in Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Information Policy and Culture Minister Oleksandr Tkachenko, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine, Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technologies, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin and others.

The Advisory Council on the De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol was established on August 15, 2022.
