Zelensky arrives at Vatican to meet Pope Francis

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived at the Vatican for a private audience with Pope Francis.
That’s according to France 24, Ukrinform reports.
The 86-year-old pontiff has repeatedly called for peace in Ukraine following Russia's invasion in February 2022, including offering to mediate with Moscow.
As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky is in Italy on Saturday. This is his first visit to this country, since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
