Stefanchuk arrives in Prague to participate in Conference of Speakers of EU Parliaments

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk arrived in Prague to participate in the Conference of Speakers of the European Union Parliaments (EUSC).

"Prague. These days, I’m on a working visit to the Czech Republic. Participation in the Conference of Speakers of the EU Parliaments is ahead. I will have a series of bilateral meetings with heads of parliaments, focusing on Ukraine, countering Russian aggression, our path to full-fledged EU membership, and our Euro-Atlantic future!" Stefanchuk posted on Facebook.

The Verkhovna Rada Chairman already met with President of the Czech Senate Miloš Vystrčil. Stefanchuk thanked the Czech Republic for its consistent support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He noted that the President of the Czech Senate was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise 2nd degree by the decree of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. "It is a great honor for me to present this award to the esteemed colleague and the true friend of Ukraine," Stefanchuk emphasized.

As reported, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk will take part in the summit of heads of parliaments of the European Union Member States and EU candidate countries in Prague (Czech Republic).
