Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis have discussed the situation on the front lines and the current defense challenges facing Ukraine.

The head of state reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"I had a phone call with Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis. I told him about the situation on the battlefield and about the current defense challenges facing Ukraine. We agreed to continue security cooperation," Zelensky said.

Greece earlier expressed its readiness to donate another batch of BMP-1 IFVs, artillery rounds and small arms ammunition to Ukraine.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov visited Athens on April 6 as part of meetings with officials of NATO countries.
