Zelensky: Ukraine invites China to join Ukrainian peace formula

"We conveyed our peace formula and an invitation to participate in this formula to China both publicly and through diplomatic channels. We invite [China] to dialogue, we wait for an answer," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As reported, Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida is visiting Ukraine on Tuesday.

Xi Jinping is on a state visit to Russia. China did not condemn the Russian war against Ukraine. On the first anniversary of the war, China presented its own 12-point plan "political solution to the Ukrainian crisis" which was criticized by the United States and European countries.
