Zelensky on Biden's address to nation: We are grateful for leadership in helping Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked United States President Joe Biden for his words of support for Ukraine during his annual State of the Nation address.
“Thank you President Joe Biden for the powerful words of support for Ukraine while addressing the nation. We are grateful for the U.S. leadership in helping Ukraine, for solidarity of the entire Ukrainian people. Our values are the same, our common goal is victory,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.
“Ukraine freely chooses its future. It is and will be so!” the President stressed.
As earlier reported, addressing the U.S. Congress on Wednesday, February 8, U.S. President Joe Biden devoted part of his speech to Russia’s war against Ukraine. In particular, he called Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine a real test for America that gave a worthy response and demonstrated its global leadership in protecting democracy.
