Ukraine MFA names three priorities at Munich Security Conference

He announced this on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"This Munich Security Conference will be very important. It will bring together key figures in Euro-Atlantic security issues. The focus will be on topics directly related to the security of Ukraine, Europe and the world in general," he said.

Kuleba reminded that a year ago, it was at the Munich Security Conference that the President Volodymyr Zelensky made a keynote speech in which he called on partners to provide weapons to Ukraine.

"This year, we will promote priority topics for Ukraine at the Munich Security Conference. The key is the supply of long-range missiles and the unlocking of the supply of combat aircraft, since warplanes are the last type of weapon to be unlocked, while all other positions already have been by a joint effort last year. We will also talk Ukraine's membership in NATO and the future of Russia in general," the minister said.

As reported, the Munich Security Conference (MSC) will be held February 17 through 19. One of its main topics will be an analysis of the situation a year into Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

At the conference in February 2022, President Zelensky who tried to convey to world leaders the threat coming from Russia.
