European Council president arrives in Kyiv for Ukraine-EU summit

European Council President Charles Michel arrived in Ukraine's capital Kyiv on Friday, February 3, for the Ukraine-EU summit.

According to Ukrinform, he reported this on his Twitter account.

"Back in Kyiv for the EU-Ukraine Summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU High Representative JosepBorrell. There will be no let up in our resolve. We will also support you every step of the way on your journey to the EU," Michel wrote.

The 24th Ukraine-EU summit will be the first such summit in which Ukraine will participate as a candidate for membership of the European Union.
