Ukrainian, Senegalese presidents discuss Grain from Ukraine initiative, peace formula

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a phone call with the chairperson of the African Union and the President of Senegal, Macky Sall, during which they discussed the further implementation of the Grain from Ukraine initiative.
Zelensky said this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"Had a phone call with African Union Chairperson, Senegal President Macky Sall. Summed up our ISFS summit backed by the African Union. Discussed further implementation of the Grain from Ukraine initiative & possible participation of African countries in the implementation of the Peace Formula," Zelensky wrote.
On the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, Ukraine launched the Grain from Ukraine initiative, with about 60 vessels with Ukrainian grain expected to be sent to the poorest countries in Africa by the middle of next year.
