Ghost city: How Russian-occupied Mariupol really looks like

The relevant video was posted by Mariupol City Council on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“This is the true appearance of Mariupol under Russian occupation. The ghost city. Rashist propagandist presenters show new houses, apartments in which are distributed between collaborators. But, the reality of the city is completely different. The houses ruined, yards and children’s playgrounds broken, cars destroyed. People who are surviving stand in queues for bread and freeze without windows and heating. This is the real life of Mariupol residents in the city turned into a ghetto. It is impossible to hide,” the report states.

A reminder that Russian occupiers are massively demolishing residential houses in Mariupol. Over 50,000 apartments have already been destroyed.

Russian armed aggression caused one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in Mariupol. About 90% of the city was destroyed in Russian attacks. Now the city has been left without normal power, water and gas supply services. Over 100,000 civilians are remaining there.
