President appoints Venediktova as Ukraine's ambassador to Switzerland

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Iryna Venediktova as Ukraine's ambassador to Switzerland.

The decree to that effect, No. 786/2022, has been published on the website of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.

"To appoint Iryna Valentynivna Venediktova as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Swiss Confederation," the document reads.

On July 9, the president signed a decree dismissing Venediktova as Ukraine's prosecutor general.

While citing and using any materials on the Internet, links to the website not lower than the first paragraph are mandatory. In addition, citing the translated materials of foreign media outlets is possible only if there is a link to the website and to the website of a foreign media outlet. Citing and using materials in offline media, mobile apps, Smart TV are allowed only with written permission from Ukrinform.
