Zelensky sends condolences over Istanbul blast

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his condolences over an explosion in Istanbul that killed at least six people and injured more than 80 others.

“It was with deep sadness that I learned of the news that many people were killed and injured in an explosion that occurred in Istanbul. I express my condolences to the relatives of those who died and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. The pain of the friendly Turkish people is our pain,” he wrote on Twitter.

As reported, today at 16:20 local time, an explosion rocked central Istanbul that killed at least six people - four of them at the scene - and injured 81 more.
