At a meeting in Kyiv, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal informed the UN and USAID officials about the country’s needs ahead of the winter period, as well as humanitarian aid needs.

The head of government wrote about this on Telegram, reports Ukrinform.

"This year's winter will be one of the most difficult ones. We work with partners to pass it, overcoming all challenges. We held a meeting with representatives of the UN system and USAID. We conveyed the needs of the regions for passing the winter period and the need for humanitarian aid," Shmyhal said.

He expects that the UN and USAID will help in providing mobile boiler stations, power generators, and other equipment, in particular for energy infrastructure repair.

"We agreed to set up a platform and a headquarters to coordinate the relevant needs. Together we will stand and overcome everything," the prime minister emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, at a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the reconstruction of energy facilities destroyed by Russian air attacks was discussed.
