This was reported by the spokesman for the German federal government, Steffen Hebestreit, Ukrinform reports.
"The chancellor resolutely rejected Russia's accusation of Ukraine intending to use the so-called dirty bomb. The chancellor and the Turkish president agreed that Russia's nuclear rhetoric is irresponsible," the spokesman for the German government said.
According to Hebestreit, during the call that took place Tuesday evening, the federal chancellor and the Turkish president exchanged views on the situation in the region.
"The chancellor highly appreciated Turkey's desire to continue exporting Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea Grain Initiative," Hebestreit said.
As previously reported, on Tuesday, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmytro Medvedev claimed that Ukraine's de-occupation of its territories was a "direct pretext" for Russia to use nuclear weapons.
