Steinmeier visits Chernihiv region

Viacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Could Koriukivka [a town in Chernihiv region], which was burnt in 1943, imagine that it would tell the President of Germany in 2022 how it desperately turned around Russian tanks," the region’s governor wrote.

He stressed that many foreign delegations visit the region every week, most of them are concerned about the problems of Chernihiv region and return again, such as, for example, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen.

As reported by Ukrinform, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who arrived on a visit to Ukraine on Tuesday, October 25, said that the Ukrainian people could count on the assistance of his country.
