Russia's war against Ukraine affects everyone, turning ordinary things into "luxuries", and will bring serious changes so it is necessary to find a solution as soon as possible.

"The Russian-Ukrainian war is the war that affects all of us right in the middle of Europe today. Opportunities we take for granted, such as electricity, fuel, gasoline, water, and even food, now turn into luxuries. We need to find solutions to these problems. This process, which changes rapidly and deeply affects our daily life, shatters people and all of us, will bring serious changes with it," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said at a meeting with compatriots in Strasbourg, Ukrinform reports with reference to A Haber.

According to him, not all countries want the end of the war.

"Our role as mediator and facilitator has become more effective. Turkey is the most active country in the political process of the war in Ukraine. Turkey is the country that has made the most efforts to establish a truce. But it's not that simple... There are many people who want the war to continue," Çavuşoğlu said.

The minister noted that the prisoner exchange and the grain export agreement were a successful example of mediation policy.

As reported, Ibrahim Kalin, Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey, recently stated that Russian dictator Putin wanted to conclude a "new big agreement" with the Western countries which would also partially concern Ukraine.
