Ukraine’s ambassador, Estonia’s interior minister discuss forced migration

Estonia will continue to allow entry into the country to the forced migrants from Ukraine and all those entitled to temporary protection.

Interior Minister of Estonia Lauri Lääenemets stated this at a meeting with Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia Mariana Betsa, Ukrinform reports, referring to the embassy’s press service.

“During the meeting the issues of temporarily displaced Ukrainian citizens in Estonia and the situation on the russia-Estonia border were discussed, in particular, blocking the passage of Ukrainian citizens to Estonia by Russia. The Minister reassured that Estonia would continue to allow entry into Estonia to temporarily displaced Ukrainian citizens and all those entitled to temporary protection,” the ministry said,

The Ambassador, in turn, thanked the Minister for the unprecedented assistance of the Government of Estonia to temporarily displaced Ukrainian citizens.
