Kuleba, Canada’s foreign minister discuss further steps on Ukraine's path to NATO

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Canada, Dmytro Kuleba and Melanie Joly, have discussed further steps on Ukraine's path to NATO, support in mine clearance and other security issues.

“In a call with Melanie Joly, I thanked Canada for supporting Ukraine’s bid to join NATO, discussed further steps on this path. Melanie affirmed Canada’s readiness to strengthen mine clearance support for Ukraine. We also discussed other security-related issues of mutual interest,” Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

As reported, on September 30, President Volodymyr Zelensky, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal signed Ukraine’s application for accelerated accession to NATO.

Canada stated about its support for Ukraine's full membership in NATO.
