The United States will provide an additional $457.5 million to Ukraine to support civilian security in the country against the background of Russian aggression.

According to Ukrinform, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said this on Twitter.

"The United States will provide an additional $457.5 million in civilian security assistance to save lives and bolster the capacity of our Ukrainian law enforcement and criminal justice partners," he wrote.

Blinken noted that the United States shares the Ukrainians' commitment to a democratic, independent, and sovereign Ukraine.

Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal earlier said that the Cabinet of Ministers plans that in 2023 Ukraine will be able to attract $12 billion from the IMF and EU and $18 billion from the United States.
