Donetsk region’s Selydove struck with Russian Smerch MLRS, S-300 missile systems

In the Donetsk region, Russian troops were shelling settlements all over the front line last night. In Selydove, over 30 apartment blocks were damaged, as well as a local school, gymnasium and kindergarten. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night Russians were shelling settlements all over the front line in the Pokrovsk district and the Bakhmut district. In the middle of the night, they struck Selydove with the Smerch multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and the S-300 missile systems. One civilian was reported killed and five injured. The enemy projectiles caused damage to 32 apartment blocks, school, gymnasium and kindergarten,” Kyrylenko wrote.

In the Marinka community, Russian troops launched artillery strikes on Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka and Heorhiivka. No casualties or destructions were reported.

In Avdiivka, Russian invaders again massively opened fire on the central part of the city with artillery. According to the preliminary data, no casualties were reported.

In the Bakhmut district, there were no casualties last night, but some destructions were reported. Around 00:00 (midnight), Toretsk came under enemy fire. The Russian projectile struck a wasteland, but windows and roofing in the adjacent buildings were damaged by a blast wave. Explosions were also heard in Pivnichne.

In the Soledar community’s Paraskoviivka, one residential house was destroyed and five more damaged.
