Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin of Ukraine held a meeting with international partners to discuss the continuation of joint projects and new cooperation vectors.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the European Union’s Delegation to Ukraine, EU Consultative Mission, Pravo-Justice II, PRAVO Police program, EUACI, Office of the Council of Europe in Ukraine, Embassy of Great Britain, Embassy of the United States, IDLO, USAID, Embassy of Canada, and Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group.

"The Prosecutor's Office plays a key role in ensuring documentation and investigation of Russian war crimes in Ukraine, as well as in coordinating international assistance in this regard. By joint efforts, we must intensify and systematize the efforts of international experts who provide support to Ukrainian law enforcement officers in their inquiries because our goal is to restore justice," Kostin emphasized.

The partners welcomed the efforts undertaken by prosecutors to continue sustainable development and implementation of international principles and standards. They also agreed with the proposed cooperation mechanisms and assured the top prosecutor that they share his hopes for continued and deepened cooperation.
