President appoints head of Kherson Regional State Administration

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Yaroslav Yanushevych as the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Yaroslav Yanushevych as the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration. The Head of State signed the relevant decree No. 553/2022," the press service of the Head of State informs.

During the meeting at the President's Office, Zelensky presented Yanushevych with the official ID and expressed the belief that his experience and professionalism will be useful in the performance of the tasks assigned to him as the head of an important region.

The President also emphasized that Kherson region would definitely be freed from the Russian invaders and the collaborators would be brought to justice.

By previous decree No. 552/2022, the President released Dmytro Butriy from temporary fulfillment of duties of the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

As reported, the President appointed Butriy as the acting head of the Kherson Regional State Administration on July 9.
