The relevant statement was made by Polish OSCE Chairmanship 2022 on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Polish FM Zbigniew Rau, OSCE Chairman-in-Office, has started his visit to Ukraine. Despite Russian obstructionism, Poland is determined to ensure OSCE’s activity and assistance to Ukraine,” the report states.
A reminder that, on July 1, 2022, the office of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine stopped its activities. Such decision followed the lack of consensus by the OSCE Permanent Council to extend the Project Co-ordinator’s mandate, due to the position of the Russian Federation.
