Ukraine has not heard any signs of sanctions fatigue and expects the European Union to impose embargo on Russian gas.

"We haven't heard any signs of sanctions fatigue, but with each successive package that the European Union adopts, we are all getting closer to the historic moment of gas sanctions and it will be a real battle," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said at a briefing for foreign media, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Kuleba also noted that one should always assess the risks properly, pointing out that some forces in Europe will put pressure on the European Union and EU member states to loosen sanctions.

"But... I think all European governments should be aware that appeasing Putin and easing sanctions is not the way to solve problems. This is the path towards the multiplication of problems," the minister emphasized.
