The war unleashed by Russia must end on the terms that the Ukrainian people will consent to. Russia’s ultimatums will not be accepted.

"We all want peace, especially people suffering in Ukraine. But I must clearly say that peace and solution [terms for ending the war between Russia and Ukraine] cannot be imposed from somewhere. This must be a decision that will be made by the people of Ukraine. We will not accept peace in the form of ultimatums put forward by Russia," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria Alexander Schallenberg said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian and Czech colleagues in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He noted that the joint visit with his Czech colleague is a signal of solidarity with Ukraine sent by the countries of Central Europe.

"Our message to Russia is very simple: we do not accept that truth is gained by force, and that is why both a neutral country and a NATO member state support Ukraine in these difficult times in this battle," the foreign minister of Austria emphasized.

Schallenberg pledged Austria's unwavering solidarity and support for Ukraine in the future.
