Zelensky, Johnson discuss situation on battlefield and Ukraine’s defense needs

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson have discussed the situation on the battlefield and Ukraine’s defense needs.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In constant contact with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Coordinated positions on the eve of important international events. Discussed the situation on the battlefield, Ukraine’s defense needs and threats to food security,” Zelensky wrote.

A reminder that the Government of the United Kingdom, led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, were among the first to express their principled and unwavering support for Ukraine, as the Russian invasion started.
