U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink has met with local residents in the city of Irpin, Kyiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Images from Irpin early in Russia’s brutal war shocked the world. Today, I met with its people, courageous individuals who resisted, blocking Russia’s advance to the capital, and who are now determined to rebuild their community. They give us all strength. We stand with Ukraine,” Brink wrote.

A reminder that, on June 2, 2022, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink handed her credentials to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
