President of Colombia calls Russian actions in Ukraine genocide

The mass war crimes committed by the Russian military in Ukraine are a genocide and madness that have to stop.
The relevant statement was made by Colombian President Ivan Duque in an interview with CNN, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“What is happening in Ukraine is a genocide. And it has to stop. […] This is insane,” Duque said, when commenting on US President Joe Biden’s use of the word ‘genocide’ to describe Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
A reminder that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated earlier “it’s absolutely right” that more people are talking and using the word ‘genocide’ to describe Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
