Ukrainian authorities are ‘taking calmly’ nuclear blackmailing from Russia’s leadership.

The relevant statement was made by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov during a national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“As for nuclear blackmailing from the Russian Federation, you can rest assured that we are taking this calmly. They can do anything. They can create some myths so professionally… They are even claiming COVID-19 allegedly came from Ukrainian laboratories,” Danilov told.

In the context of nuclear safety, which is currently under threat due to the seizure of Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and Zaporizhzhia NPP by Russian troops, Danilov stressed that the international community should recognize Russia as a nuclear terrorist state.

According to Danilov, it is necessary to involve increased assistance and support from other countries to combat Russian military aggression.

A reminder that, according to the data from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Russian President Vladimir Putin may be plotting a terrorist attack at Chornobyl NPP.
