NATO members, namely the Republic of Poland, have got ‘green light’ to send fighter jets to Ukraine, while the United States and allies are increasing the defense support for Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in an interview with Face the Nation on CBS News, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Currently, the United States is talking with Poland about backfilling its needs if in fact Poland chooses to provide these fighter jets to the Ukrainians.

A reminder that, on Saturday, March 5, 2022, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited Poland, where they discussed the increased defense support for Ukraine.
