President Volodymyr Zelensky will always stay with the people of Ukraine.

That’s according to Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, who spoke in an interview with Fox News during his U.S. visit on Tuesday.

“The president will always stay with the people of Ukraine. The president of Ukraine is convinced that if we remain united, if we stay focused, in the end, we will prevail,” Kuleba said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the illegal entities in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk region. The agreements concluded between these quasi-republics and Russia provide for Moscow’s military assistance.

Addressing Ukrainians, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine unequivocally qualified the latest actions by the Russian Federation as a violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. All responsibility for the consequences of these decisions lies with Russia.

Leaders of the EU, the United States, Canada, and most democracies across the world have condemned the Kremlin's actions as a direct violation of international law and Russia’s own international obligations.
