The Principality of Liechtenstein has joined the Ukraine-initiated Crimea Platform, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

He said this on Facebook in a video link from Munich, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"My colleague from Lichtenstein told me the very good news - she officially confirmed today at a meeting that Liechtenstein is joining the Crimea Platform," Kuleba said.

He added that Liechtenstein did not take part in the inaugural summit of the Crimea Platform, but today it joined Ukraine's efforts to return Crimea to Ukraine's control.

According to Kuleba, "such things are very important, because they show that we do not live only in the present, but we also think about the strategy, about the future."
