Zelensky sacks head of Zakarpattia region

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Anatoliy Poloskov as head of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.

According to Ukrinform, the decree to that effect, No. 587/2021, has been published on the website of the President's Office.

"To dismiss Anatoliy Oleksandrovych Poloskov from the position of head of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration in accordance with his application," the decree reads.

According to decree No. 588/2021, the head of state temporarily assigned the duties of head of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration to Petro Dobromilsky.

Zelensky appointed Poloskov head of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration on December 7, 2020.
