Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar has presented his credentials to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to Ukrinform, Bodnar wrote this on Twitter.

"Today I had the honor to present my credentials to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The official countdown of my diplomatic service as Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey has begun," he wrote.

Bodnar also said that this was his second meeting with the Turkish leader in the past week. Bodnar believes this is "a good sign that Ukrainian-Turkish relations will continue to develop upwards."
