Government dismisses Fomenko as deputy culture and information policy minister

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Svitlana Fomenko from the post of deputy minister of culture and information policy for European integration.

The resolution on her dismissal was published on the Government portal, Ukrinform reports.

“To dismiss Svitlana Fomenko from the post of Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine for European Integration in accordance with the first paragraph of the second part of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Central Executive Bodies’,” reads the document.

In April 2016, she took up the post of first deputy culture minister.

From January 2 to March 28, 2020, she served as deputy minister of culture, youth and sports of Ukraine for European integration.

From March 10 to March 28, 2020, Fomenko held the post of acting minister of culture, youth and sports.

On March 29, 2020, the government appointed her deputy minister of culture and information policy of Ukraine for European integration.

From March 29 to June 4, 2020, Fomenko held the post of acting minister of culture and information policy of Ukraine.
